CTLGroup Promotes Four of Their Esteemed Colleagues
SKOKIE, IL (January 9, 2020) – CTLGroup would like to congratulate the following staff on the following promotions:
Boyd Clark, Ph.D., has been promoted to Vice President, Materials and will oversee our Materials Technology, Petrography, Concrete & Cement-Based Materials, Chemistry Laboratory, and Concrete & Mortar Laboratory groups. Dr. Clark joined CTLGroup in 2010 and and will be celebrating 10 years of service with CTLGroup in December. Boyd earned a BS and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California at Berkley as well as a PHD in Philosophy from Penn State. He has over 30 years of industry experience, specializing in materials science, new product design, and the research and analysis of building materials.
Rich Kaczkowski, P.E., S.E., has been promoted to Vice President, Structures and Mechanics. In this new role, Mr. Kaczkowski will oversee our Structural Evaluation, Structural Engineering & Mechanics, Architecture & Building Science, and Structural & Transportation Laboratory groups. Rich joined us in 2010 and will be celebrating 10 years of service with CTLGroup in November. He has over 34 years of industry experience and holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer.
Alexis Brackney, AIA, S.E., has been promoted to Group Director, Building Science. Ms. Brackney joined us in 2009 as an Associate I, and will have completed 11 years of service with CTLGroup in September. Alexis has a BS in Architectural Studies and an MS in Architecture, Structures Option from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a licensed Architect and Structural Engineer.
David Drengenberg, P.E., S.E., has been promoted to Group Director, Structural Engineering and Mechanics. Mr. Drengenberg, joined us in 2003 as an Associate I, and will have completed 19 years of service with CTLGroup in June. David has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer.
