Microscopical Examination of Portland Cement and Clinker - ONO Method
This examination is performed on raw cement and clinker, to assess proportions of clinker phases and evaluate various clinker phase characteristics associated with the cement raw mix and conditions in the cement kiln during production. The examination is mainly used as a troubleshooting tool and as part of a quality control program, often in conjunction with XRD, XRF, and other testing.
