Biography

Gustavo Zurita is a seasoned Senior Project Manager with over two decades of experience in building envelopes. His extensive project portfolio spans exterior restoration, landmark preservation, owners’ representation, and new construction endeavors. Mr. Zurita specializes in an array of disciplines including building masonry, curtain walls, roofing, windows, waterproofing, leak investigations, field water testing, façade inspections, and compliance with NYC Local Law 11 FISP inspections & reports.

Within CTLGroup, Mr. Zurita leverages his knowledge and leadership skills to orchestrate and supervise intricate exterior restoration projects, ensuring attention to detail in repair recommendations and construction administration. His adept navigation of the dynamic and demanding terrain of New York City’s construction industry emphasizes his commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Mr. Zurita’s architectural journey commenced in Venezuela, where he attained the title of Architect and co-founded the Venezuelan Green Building Council (Member of WGBC). Continuously enhancing his expertise, Mr. Zurita has acquired various certifications, including LEED BD+C and ICC Special Inspector credentials. These certifications exemplify his proficiency in safety protocols, building codes, and energy efficiency standards, reinforcing his ability to offer comprehensive architectural solutions for exterior building façade components.
