University of Illinois at Chicago – Engineering Research Lab Building

CTLGroup conducted an evaluation of the existing roof skylight of the Engineering Research Lab Building at the University of Illinois at Chicago for water penetration. In order to verify as-built conditions and better assess the water penetration, the skylight was disassembled and reassembled. We identified the curtain wall beneath the skylight as a contributing source of water leakage to the reported problems and recommended repairs to the client.
