Cincinnati Museum Center

Prior to CTLGroup’s evaluation, the plaza and the fountain had undergone a major rehabilitation. However, a few years after the completion of that rehabilitation, water leakage below the fountain was evident.

CTLGroup performed an evaluation of the plaza fountain and its waterproofing system. The evaluation included an investigation and testing of deficiencies in the liquid-applied waterproofing membrane, the fountain’s architectural concrete components, and its lead waterproofing system. Based on the results of the evaluation, CTLGroup provided alternative repair schemes for short- and long-term rehabilitation of the fountain.
