Skokie, Illinois (January 7, 2020) – CTLGroup would like to congratulate Jaclyn Ferraro on her promotion to Group Director of Petrography.
Ms. Ferraro has been with CTLGroup for 7 years and leads projects that document quality and composition of cementitious and geological construction materials in regards to performance problems, causes of distress and failure, quality assurance, and assistance in renovation. Her expertise includes concrete and aggregate petrography applied to materials with issues pertaining to strength and setting, freeze-thaw and chemical-related deterioration, alkali-aggregate reactions, delayed ettringite formation (DEF), fire-damage assessment, scaling, debonding, delamination, and USACES aggregate qualification tests.
Ms. Ferraro holds a M.S. in Geology from the University of Iowa. She is also affiliated with ASTM and ACI, and has active roles in both associations.
