Biography

Mr. Martin has extensive pavement engineering experience, specializing in the design, management, performance, investigation, and evaluation of pavements. His application of design principles and research has optimized pavement designs for state highway design build projects, municipal pavement design, aviation, and port pavement designs. As an industry expert in the analysis and problem solving of pavement performance, he enjoys applying his experience to help clients with forensic investigations and litigation support.

Prior to joining CTLGroup, he was responsible for project management, business development, and resourcing of the pavement engineering practice for a national geotechnical engineering consulting firm in Austin, Texas. There, he managed a significant portfolio of pavement projects involving design, evaluation, and implementation of asset and pavement management systems for federal, state, and local government agencies. He has also managed large international projects including the Abu Dhabi Road Asset Management Information System while acting as the Division Manager in the Middle East region.
