Biography

Dr. Mullapudi is a structural engineer with a focus in forensics, analysis, design, and strengthening of residential, commercial, onshore, offshore, nuclear, petrochemical, and environmental structures for normal design loads. Additionally, Dr. Mullapudi specializes in natural and man-made disasters including earthquake, blast, impact, fire, and hurricane extreme loadings. He has spent several years in research and development, working on inelastic finite element software development, dynamic loads, soil-structure interaction, fastening technology, and nondestructive testing. He has authored and co-authored several journal papers, books, and conference proceedings on topics of analysis of structures under seismic loadings, soil structure interaction, impact loadings, materials, and fastening technology.

Dr. Mullapudi has always been interested in solving problems and building things, which inspired his career in civil engineering. In addition to working with diverse experts on the CTLGroup team, he brings a keen eye for details and steadfast commitment to fulfilling the needs of his clients. When he is not working, Dr. Mullapudi goes cycling with his family.
