Jaclyn Ferraro

Jaclyn Ferraro is an accomplished Group Director of Concrete, Mortar, & Petrography Laboratories and Senior Petrographer at CTLGroup. With over 10 years of experience, she is responsible for managing the overall performance of the concrete, mortar, and petrography departments, creating business strategies and proposing implementation methods, communicating with company executives, conducting performance reviews, and preparing business plans, budgets, and schedules. She provides managers with the resources they need and ensures managers comply with company and legal requirements. In addition, Ms. Ferraro is a highly skilled petrographer, with expertise in a wide range of analyses related to petrographic examination for failure and forensic investigation, concrete and aggregate petrography, and materials characterization.

Ms. Ferraro is an executive subcommittee member for C09 American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and is subcommittee chair for C09.65 ASTM C856. In 2017, she was awarded and recognized as an ASTM International Emerging Professional. She currently holds a board member position in the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Illinois chapter. Her volunteer work includes participating in the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation’s Climb for the Kids, while her professional affiliations include the American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM), Society of Concrete Petrographers (SCP), Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP), and Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association (IMAA).

Ms. Ferraro has an extensive educational background in geosciences, including a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from the University of Iowa.
