ASCE Participates in House Hearing on Trade Center Collapse
In an effort to explain the background, scope, and future of its investigation into the collapse of the World Trade Center towers, ASCE participated in a March 6 hearing before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science.
The hearing was the first to be held on the twin towers’ collapse and was convened in response to criticism from certain members of concrete and various experts who maintain that the investigation has been inadequately funded and has been hampered by the fact that there is no clear definition of who is in charge of it.
Dr. W. Gene Corley, Senior Vice President at CTLGroup, was quoted in this ASCE News article.
