Lorenz Presents at ACI Spring Convention in Tampa
Emily Lorenz, Engineer at CTLGroup, presented a session at the ACI Spring Convention in Tampa, FL on Wed., Apr. 6, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Her presentation, titled "Precast Concrete Industry's Green Initiatives," was part of the conference session "ACI & The Concrete Industry's Approach to Green Building."
Life-cycle assessment (LCA) is an important tool to understand the environmental impact of the materials and systems we use. In an attempt to understand how precast concrete could lessen its environmental impact, the precast concrete industry is undergoing an LCA research program. This presentation will provide status report on the current research program, and how the research will be used to assist with other green and sustainable initiatives for the precast concrete industry.
