Sulphate environments are aggressive toward some concretes.

Instructions
A sample of 1 litre is required

Results Produced
Sulphate ion (SO42?) is determined and reported as mg/Kg.

Time for Results
Results are usually available within 4 to 10 working days.

Alternate Tests
XRF can provide data for sulfur as SO3 for solid samples where the SO3 is in the range .5 to 46 percent and the sulfur is not a sulfide or elemental sulfur. Gypsum: ASTM C 471 and DTA (differential thermal analysis). Limestone and lime: ASTM C 25. Soils: U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
