Use
"Blaine" fineness is the most commonly used fineness test in the cement industry. It is sensitive to the finest particles and a general indicator of overall fineness. "Blaine" values are relative, not absolute, surface area values.

Instructions
Sample mass should be at least 25 grams (1 oz). Sample should be submitted sealed in small airtight jars (preferably glass) and properly labeled. Avoid plastic bags.

Results Produced
Fineness (specific surface) is reported in units of m2/kg. Density of 3.15 g/cm3 assumed for ordinary portland cement.

Time for Results
Results are usually available within 5 working days.
