Asad Bassam Appointed to TRB's Committee on Seismic Design and Performance of Bridges, AFF50
Asad Bassam, Structural Engineering & Mechanics, has been appointed as a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB)’s technical committee AFF50: Seismic Design and Performance of Bridges. Members of the technical committees of the TRB are appointed per recommendation of the committee chair based on their technical contributions to the committee’s related field, and will be involved in committee activities including the review, discussion and approval of the new design codes, developing RFPs, review of the proposals, and recommendations to the governmental agencies for future research funding.
