Understanding ASHRAE 189.1
Many are following the development of the International Green Construction Code (IGCC), but the first code-intended commercial green building standard in the United States has already been released.
Martha VanGeem, Principal Engineer and co-chair of the Green Solutions practice group at CTLGroup, and Emily Lorenz, Engineer, co-authored this October 2011 Construction Specifier article.
