Lorenz Presents for Sedgwick Chicago Seminar Series
Emily Lorenz, Engineer at CTLGroup, co-presented a session for the Sedgwick Chicago Seminar Series on October 5 at 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at The Conference Center at UBS Tower at One North Wacker Drive, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60606. Lorenz presented along with Traci Ribeiro and Marcos Cancio of Sedgwick LLP.
The presentation, titled "Construction Defect Coverage Litigation – Where Are We Now and What's Next?," was an overview of insurance coverage for construction defects and recent developments in key jurisdictions, including legislation impacting coverage for construction defects. The panel will also discuss construction defect insurance coverage issues that may arise from the construction of "green" buildings and highlight green building codes, standards and rating system requirements.
Following the seminar, Sedgwick held a cocktail reception on the 42nd floor of their offices at One North Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606.
