CTLGroup uses thermal imaging to assist in evaluating buildings for water or air leakage or for thermal breaks in the building envelope. Thermal images can reveal and capture the sources of these issues, in many cases eliminating the need for destructive test openings.
CTLGroup has used thermal imaging for a variety of different building evaluations from pinpointing potential water leakage locations in a building envelope to revealing thermal breaks in curtain wall or roof systems. Thermal images can also be used to reveal hidden construction components for determination of proper installation. When faced with a building problem that is not readily apparent from visual observations, and destructive test openings are a last resort, the proper collection and interpretation of thermal images can help us pinpoint your problem.
