C.P. BokPrincipal Structural Engineer, Structural Engineering & Mechanics
Mr. Bok has over 20 years of experience in troubleshooting construction-related problems, structural evaluation and rehabilitation/retrofit of structures with structural integrity and durability performance problems. His work has included: condition surveys; documenting causes of deterioration or structural distress; structural analysis and design; designing innovative repairs; nondestructive testing (testing a structure without the use of invasive approaches like disassembly); cost-estimating; developing repair specifications and drawings; and field administration. He has also provided litigation support on various cases.
Mr. Bok has managed projects in the evaluation and rehabilitation of building facades, parking garages, plaza decks, swimming pools, bridges and airports, as well as educational, commercial and industrial facilities. He has worked with reinforced concrete, steel, wood and masonry structures, and has prepared specifications using concrete repair materials, epoxies, grouts, overlays, protective coatings, waterproofing, aesthetic elements and corrosion inhibitors.
Prior to joining CTLGroup, Mr. Bok was a structural engineer at a major architectural and engineering firm in Chicago, where he performed structural analysis and design of concrete and steel high-rise commercial buildings, parking garages and bridges.
