Mr. Kanare is a nationally-recognized expert in the analysis and characterization of cement and concrete, floor construction, floor covering systems and concrete moisture issues. He has supervised and performed hundreds of field and laboratory investigations of concrete materials performance issues. He is widely known for his educational activities including lecturing, writing, standards development and training for concrete floor construction.
Mr. Kanare provides design-phase and pre-construction consulting on concrete construction, as well as forensic investigations and litigation support. He previously led the Materials Testing and Analysis department, designed and managed the reconstruction of state-of-the-art chemistry laboratories and developed lab procedures used throughout the cement industry.
